Collings D3

Collings is a boutique instrument company based out of Austin, Texas that specializes in perfection. The D series includes their take on the square-shouldered dreadnought, and dare I say they have managed to consistently create the most well playing and balanced dreadnoughts on the market today. The D3 has some fancier appointments that make the guitar a little more flashy than other models. The instrument features a Sitka spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides, a modified “V” mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard (this guitar has the 42 style snowflake inlays) and has a 1 3/4″ nut width, has a high gloss nitro finish, and comes with a hardshell case.
